I just finished going through your Prezi. Very impressive! Are those photos in their original form, or have they been taken through photoshop? Either way, they are really cool. Keep me updated on anything new!

  2. January 25, 2010 at 9:35 pm | #3

The cactus picture looks so warm and fuzzy.
Probably my favorite of them all at the moment.

  3. January 25, 2010 at 9:46 pm | #4

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if people would like it.

That was actually one of the very first pictures I took with a Rebel. Thank Photoshop for the fuzz, and the lack of a bright blue airsoft BB.

  4. January 25, 2010 at 9:49 pm | #5

I need some advice: should I put the hail photo from the “When Opportunity Arises” post on this gallery? I like the photo and think it is cool, but I am just not sure if it is good enough. What do you think?

    January 25, 2010 at 10:22 pm | #6

Oh Thank you, I am glad you liked them..

Some of them are just the original and I adjusted the contrast only..I usually play with the colors and leave it as it, because when I take a picture I put a ligh directed to the subject.. it looks cool sometimes like my ” Open Book ” picture in the gallery that skocko put today. Using PS is usefull with such photographs.

My fav. two pictures of yours are the Shoe and the Web! really nice. I will keep checking your gallery, interesting work.

  6. January 25, 2010 at 10:27 pm | #7

Thanks. I really like the shoe too: it is one of my favorites. I think the web is cool, but I am creeped out by spiders, so I will never really like it.

  7. January 25, 2010 at 10:37 pm | #8

Nice, I wanna take some good shots too. Help me use the camera!

  8. January 25, 2010 at 10:37 pm | #9

Sure. Talk to me when you are ready.

    January 27, 2010 at 5:43 pm | #10

What Camera and what lensses do you use?

  10. January 27, 2010 at 5:45 pm | #11

Visit the “The Stuff We Use” page for a list of everything we use.

  11. January 28, 2010 at 10:10 pm | #12

Everyone: if you had to pick one to print, which would it be? I want to print one, but I can’t decide which.

  12. Diana I.
    January 31, 2010 at 5:58 pm | #13

For my opinion.. You can print ” Normal Ice ” or ” Shoe “.

Skocko accapeted to print one of your pictures?

  13. January 31, 2010 at 6:05 pm | #14

Skocko will print almost anything! (As long as it’s good)

I asked him if we could print something while we were working last Friday, but we were too busy to find time to print, so we will probably do it sometime this week. We are arriving at the Lab at 7 am to finish putting it back together, so we might print then.

    Thanks for the opinion!

Is it just me, or is the horizon in “Normal Ice” crooked?

  14. Diana I.
    February 1, 2010 at 9:47 pm | #15

Yes, I noticed that it is crooked alittle..but you can fix it in PS easily with the ruler tool ;) , ot leave it as it because it is not noticeable.

  15. February 1, 2010 at 9:48 pm | #16

I spent ten minutes trying to get it straight. If I find time, I will try to get it perfect. Thanks for the heads up. :)

  16. February 1, 2010 at 10:42 pm | #17

I have new versions of four of these photos, but WordPress is acting up, so I’ll update them tomorrow.

  17. February 2, 2010 at 6:53 am | #18

The four photos discussed in the “The Blog and the Ink” post have been updated here.

    February 2, 2010 at 9:53 am | #19

Today I will put the new pictures I put over the weekend, check them out ;) .. I hope I will have time to do my Photoshop website.

I hope your pictures will be in Photography gallery. My ” Open Book ” picture is there, I am not sure it you saw it or not.. I hope he would put more of my photography.

Your new versions of the pictures, they look better.. the details are more clear now.

By the way, I always read your blog that’s why you always see me commenting :P

    “I put over the weekend”

    I took* not put

  20. February 2, 2010 at 3:53 pm | #21

Skocko is putting the photos I submitted on the gallery and tomorrow we will be printing.

Your “Open Book” photo is the cover for the photo gallery, but it is not inside. I wonder why. You should make sure he puts it in the gallery itself.

The seventh photo on your prezi is my favorite, but I really like them all!

    Thanks for visiting so much!

  21. February 2, 2010 at 3:53 pm | #22

Do you have other photos besides those on your prezi?

  22. Diana I.
    February 2, 2010 at 5:16 pm | #23

well it is a long story.. this Open Book picture is not the orginal.. the orginal one is on my laptop that is broken now and need to be fixed !! and also I dont know why it dissapered from my computer in the Mac Lab.. so whenever I fix the laptop I will get that picture and he will put it inside the gallery.

I have so many pictures and I didn’t have time to put them all on Prezi, also this Prezi is stupid, I find it wierd.. Iam doing a Photoshop website.. I added alot of new pictures..also Skocko will pick the best ones and put them on the gallery.

Thanks for checking..I will publish the photoshop website as soon as I can.

  23. February 2, 2010 at 5:17 pm | #24

That’s too bad about your computer.

I am looking forward to seeing the photoshop.com gallery.

    February 2, 2010 at 5:20 pm | #25

By any chance, was your laptop a PC?

  25. Diana I.
    February 2, 2010 at 7:57 pm | #26

Yes.. it is PC … it is actually a technical problem in it not the actuall laptop.. it has no charge at all and there is something wrong with the charger when I plug it in.. so complicated.

By the way, where you will do the ligh painting tomorrow?

  26. Kyle Rodenbo
    February 2, 2010 at 8:00 pm | #27

We are going to meet in the Mac Lab, then work in the janitors closet right across the hall from the lab.

That sucks about your computer! Sorry!!!

  27. February 2, 2010 at 8:05 pm | #28

You are going to be at the light painting tutorial, right?

  28. Diana I.
    February 2, 2010 at 10:57 pm | #29

Yes it is sucks ! :(

I think I will be there Chris, I hope I will be able to make it.

  29. February 2, 2010 at 11:01 pm | #30

Well I hope you can make it.

I hope you can get your computer fixed. I couldn’t imagine loosing all my data.

  30. Diana I.
    February 3, 2010 at 6:50 am | #31

I will not lose anything,, it is only the problem with that charger, I hope it will be fixed soon.

  31. February 3, 2010 at 6:51 am | #32

Good. If something has to break, I guess the charger is one of the least damaging.

  32. Diana I.
    February 3, 2010 at 11:14 am | #33

    Yeeeeeper!!

My Photoshop website is ready, the only thing that is not working now is that they are adding new servers or whatever so you can’t see it right now, maybe tomorrow.. I hope ! what a bad luck.

    its just her.
    she’s special :)

  38. February 17, 2010 at 7:37 pm | #39

I have been readying 6 of my photos for print. Should I add the shoe photo to that list?

  39. February 17, 2010 at 9:05 pm | #40

The seed pod and red flower are updated.

  40. Diana Issa
    February 18, 2010 at 10:04 am | #41

Yes, add the show picture.. it is one of the best photos!!

Chris, did you saw my Photoshop website?

  41. February 18, 2010 at 3:32 pm | #42

    Thanks for the input!

Yes, I did. I just finished looking through it again, and I have to say, they are REALLY good!!! There are a few photos I wouldn’t have put up, but the rest are SOOOOOOOO cool!!!!!!! I don’t know what to say!!! WOW!!!!!!!

Three suggestions: pick the best and stick with those, work a little more in photoshop, and buy a tripod (if you haven’t already)

Can I link to your photoshop.com site from my blog?

  42. February 18, 2010 at 3:53 pm | #43
  43. February 18, 2010 at 4:42 pm | #44

We plan to print the red flower, seed pod, and shoe pictures. Anything else you think we should print? These prints are for ourselves: I don’t know if Skocko will put them on the Wall or not.

    February 19, 2010 at 8:54 pm | #45

Thanks Chris, I didn`t know you will like them :D because iam still a beginner, I really cant find time for photography those days, studying is too loaded in junior year !!

Sure you can link my website to your blog, that would be nice from you.

I think you should prink those 3 pictures only because they are better than the rest.
