Of course. No tripod = no light painting. That is just a fact. (Unless you are doing a specific kind of light painting where you take the camera and move it while the light remains still)
The last 4 images are taken while in a car correct? If so, did you leave the camera on autofocus rather than switching (Assuming they were taken during a car ride).
Yes, the last four images were taken from a car, on the way to and from Downtown. I believe, and Christopher correct me if I’m wrong, it was on autofocus.
As far as I can remember, the camera was set on Autofocus with the f-stop (aperture) on either 8 or 11. The exposures were for about 20 seconds. I took them on January 22 on the way downtown with my Rebel T1i.
Haha! I was scrolling through my files and had a sudden moment of inspiration: “those pictures would look better combined!” So I combined them. Glad you like it!
You absolutely used tripod here,right?

Anyone know why all the images on all the galleries are dulled, but when you view the full versions, they are fine?

I have new versions of two of these photos, as well as 5 new ones to add.
New and improved photos are now on this gallery
The dip and cars photos are updated and the purple building, pool 1, and pool 2 are new.
Spiral_02 is going into my inspiration files…

I saw your comment about new light painting pictures, so I started scrolling down until I ran across the one with me in it.
