About

My name is Christopher Canel and I am a Freshman at the University of California, Berkeley. I am majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), but I am also working to become a better photographer and cinematographer by collaborating with my high school’s digital media program, the Valhalla Mac Lab. I have over four years of experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, and currently use the CS5.5 Master Collection as my primary post-production tool. In addition to being a photographer, I am the co-leader of Mac Lab Media, my high school’s video production team. For video projects, I rely on Apple Final Cut Studio 3, which I have been using for two and a half years.

I am a firm believer in the superiority of Apple products but appreciate all technology. I live on the cutting edge and am not afraid of being an early adopter of new tools and devices. My ideal career would one in the field of Computer Science. Ultimately, I love technology and how it allows me to express myself.

As for the name of this blog, the “C” stands for my last name, “Canel,” and the “R” stands for “Rodenbo,” the last name of CRDESIGNLAB’s co-founder, who is no longer a part of this blog.

You can contact me at crdesignlab@gmail.com.
